In the spring, the temple is famous for its early-blooming cherry blossoms, and the precincts overlooking the spectacular view of Waka-no-Ura are filled with countless good men and women who come close to the temple to lay their heels to the temple. The largest standing wooden statue of the Great Thousand-armed Eleven-faced Kannon in Japan was opened to the public in 2008, attracting much attention.
